Jean-René Halde

Former President & CEO, Business Development Bank of Canada

Jean-René Halde is the former President & CEO, Business Development Bank of Canada, and has more than 30 years of management experience in a number of Canada’s most dynamic sectors. Since 1979, has held CEO positions in leading companies, including Metro-Richelieu Inc., Culinar Inc. and Livingston Group Inc. He joined BDC as President & CEO in June 2005. Jean-René holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MA from Western University.
